Happy first week of fall everyone!
It’s time to kick-start your fall fitness wardrobe and get motivated to hit the gym. This time of year is my absolute favorite, especially since it’s socially acceptable to wear comfy and cozy workout gear all-day-long.
Recently, I have learned that wearing your cute gym apparel throughout the day will eventually encourage you to complete your workout. I know that this sounds ridiculous, but I swear it works!
So, tackle autumn’s unpredictable weather and don’t break the bank this season with my top five affordable brands.
Target $
Target’s fitness line is a fantastic mixture between comfortable, yet trendy and has a wide array of brands/ sizes to choose from. Whether you know your size or not, you can return your unopened items within 90 days!
Aerie $$
As we all know, Aerie is a gift to humankind. From their extremely comfortable undergarments, their body positivity campaigns, their stand-up against photoshop, and most importantly, their quality fitness apparel. Aerie is all about making clothing that empowers women to feel comfortable in their own skin. Therefore, their high-waisted leggings and supportive sports bra’s will suck you in, hold you up, and allow you to feel confident while getting your sweat on!
Calia By Carrie Underwood $$$
Back in 2016 the queen of country music, Carrie Underwood launched her successful line of athletic wear and ever since then, gym enthusiasts have been absolutely raving about how wonderful the line has been! The pop star told People magazine, “putting together a fashionable but also functional outfit gives me a little boost when going to the gym – especially when I need an extra push or I’m not feeling my best.” It looks like I’m not the only person who uses fashion as a motivation.
Fabletics $$$
This fitness apparel company owned by Kate Hudson operates on a monthly membership structure. For instance, if you join as a VIP Member, your first outfit is only $25 ( STEAL), and you also get discounted prices on la carte items. Keep in mind that with this membership, you can receive 2-3 piece outfits made just for you for only $49-$59 a month. To be honest, I believe the quality of leggings are very similar to the ones you can purchase at Lululemon but just at a lower price.
Note: The products run small!
Macy’s $$-$$$
As a little girl, my mother would always drag my sister and I around Macy’s because they had incredible discounts! At that time, I did not appreciate having Macy’s around the corner and having the option to buy luxury brands at a low rate. However, now I am like a kid in a candy store for the very first time when I step foot in the fitness section of the department store. No matter what time of the year you go, Macy’s always has terrific sales on durable athletic brands like Adidas and Nike!
Great suggestions!!!
