No whining here, just wining with my best gal pals at the hottest estate on the North Fork called Vineyard 48. This past weekend we celebrated one of my best friends twenty-first birthday celebration by hitting up this awesome and beautiful winery. Vineyard 48 is known to have some of the oldest grape vines on Long Island. They have a diverse selection of grapes that are grown on the estate. This hot spot isn’t just a place for tasting some fabulous red or white wine you can break it down on the dance floor as well. My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time boogying the day away to some of our favorite throwbacks as we sipped on summer time that was served to us in an oversize beach bucket. With school just around the corner, this was my last weekend in the Hamptons and thanks to Vineyard 48 and my best friends (The 7) I ended summer 2017 with a bang.
What To Wear: Winery Outfit Ideas
Since I finally turned twenty-one this year, my family and I have been taking advantage of the wineries all summer long out in the Hamptons. Our all-time favorite is Wölffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack. This beautiful winery is a perfect venue for a photo opp that ThePreppyMag and I can’t pass up each time we visit. Before we head to the vineyard, we pick the most fitting outfit for the winery we are attending. We usually go with a short shift, baby doll dress, or maxi dress. However, whichever dress we decide to wear, we are always certain that the shoe complements our outfit. For instance, if we wear a short dress such as a shift or a baby doll cut we typically wear wedges. If we end up wearing a maxi, we throw on a comfortable pair of sandals or flats. Here are winery outfit ideas I would consider while visiting the wineries.
What I’m Wearing
My weekend celebration with my girlfriends was filled with lots of wine and style! Sunday I wore a floral maxi dress from clothing store Dynamite. This fabulous V-neck maxi dress is perfect if you want to make a summer statement. It features a belt that cinches in all the right places, which makes it flattering look. This dress becomes very versatile when you untie the knot and wear it as a Kimono or a beach cover-up. I topped off this look with some statement jewelry from Anthropologie, nude handbag from Forever 21, and Bamboo two-piece gold trim platform sandals from Charlotte Russe. Wineries are even more gorgeous during autumn, therefore, grab your friends and family and plan your next visit to the Vineyard.
Cheers!
